A call for nominations to the Board of CIGRE Australia was made on 30th September 2025 and has now closed.
In accordance with clause 24.4 of the Constitution, election of office bearers proceeds in the following order: Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Treasurer, Chairman of the Australian Technical Committee and General Director. Additionally, in accordance with clause 24.7(a) of the Constitution, where only one nomination is received for a position, the nominee is deemed elected, and no voting is required.
Three General Director positions will remain unfilled. The Board may choose to fill one or more of those positions after the Annual General Meeting as casual vacancies in accordance with clause 23.5 of the Constitution.
The following nominees will be elected to their respective positions at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 21 November 2025:
- Chairman: Rainer Korte
- Deputy Chairman: Natasha D’Silva
- Treasurer: Tara-Lee Macarthur
- Chairman of the Australian Technical Committee: Angela Klepac
- General Director: Nicola Falcon
