CIGRE Green Books are CIGRE’s state of the art, flagship reference publications. CIGRE aims to produce most comprehensive set of reference publications encompassing all the subjects covered by CIGRE and its Study Committees.

Each CIGRE Green Book consolidates CIGRE’s collective knowledge within a specific domain into a single book, bringing together and systematically reorganising existing Technical Brochures into a carefully compiled reference.

CIGRE Members receive a 40% discount on Green Book purchases.

As at May 2025 these publications have been accepted by SCOPUS for indexing. This will provide extensive reference and citation opportunities for the education sector.
