Adrian Lloyd awarded 2026 NGN Significant Contribution Award

We are pleased to announce that Adrian Lloyd, of Energy Queensland has been awarded the 2026 Next Generation Network Significant Contribution Award. This award recognises outstanding contributions of NGN members to CIGRE activities and is awarded following the deliberations of the Award Committee and Steering Committee, with the approval of the Administrative Council.

Adrian has been an active member of the Next Generation Network (NGN) for a decade, during which time he has made a significant contributions to the network. As Co-Chair, he has played a key role in supporting and advancing NGN initiatives and strengthening member involvement across CIGRE.

This recognition reflects Adrian’s sustained commitment and contribution to the CIGRE community both in Australia and globally.

Adrian will be formally recognised during the Opening Ceremony of the CIGRE Paris Session 2026, held at the Palais des Congrès on Sunday 23 August 2026.
