Working Groups
Each of the sixteen Study Committees oversees a number of Working Groups. Presently there are more than 240 active Working Groups in CIGRE.
Each year, approximately 40–50 Working Groups complete their work and publish a Report or Technical Brochure, following review and approval by their respective Study Committees. These publications are available to members via eCIGRE. To ensure continued progress, the Technical Council approves a similar number of new Working Groups annually, based on new Terms of Reference proposed by the Study Committees.
Active Working Groups can be found here.
Working Groups without Australian Representation
A number of active Working Groups currently do not have an Australian National Committee (ANC) representative. These vacancies present a valuable opportunity for CIGRE Australia members to contribute at an international level, collaborate with global experts, and represent Australia in CIGRE’s technical work.
