2023 Director Elections Finalised
At the Annual General Meeting on 28 November, the successful candidates for the open positions on the CIGRE Board were announced. They are:
Mr David Bones - Deputy Chairman
Ms Tara-lee Macarthur - Treasurer
Ms Angela Klepac - Chairman of the Australian Technical Committee
Mr Les Brand - General Director
Ms Nicola Falcon - General Director
Mr Rainer Korte - General Director
Mr Ed Wilson - General Director
With the exception of Mr Korte, all other elected candidates were members of the Board leading up to the AGM. The successful candidates join continuing directors Dr Sean McGoldrick (Chairman), Ms Alison Andew and Dr Stewart Bell (both General Directors) on the Board.
CIGRE Australia Chairman Dr McGoldrick said, ‘I congratulate all successful candidates and warmly welcome Rainer Korte as a new director on be Board. Rainer, as COO of ElectraNet, will bring valuable experience to the organisation. I would also like to acknowledge the contribution of Dr Jenny Crisp over the previous two years and thank her for her valuable service to the Board’.
